Diversity in the work community - the project will be implemented in cooperation between LAB University of Applied Sciences and Kiipula Foundation/ Kiipula Vocational College in 2023–2025. The project's groups are the students of LAB University of Applied Sciences, the students who need support from the demanding special purpose of Kiipula University of Applied Sciences, and the economic operators of the Päijät-Häme area. The measures of the project are directed from different perspectives to the work readiness and career paths of the target groups and the promotion of employment opportunities, as well as the formation of diverse work communities.The project aims to influence and respond to the changing needs, values and attitudes of business operators and working life in the Päijät-Häme area. The companies in the Päijät-Häme area have a labor shortage, and those with partial work/special skills have challenges finding employment in the labor market. The project aims to promote the identification of these needs and to coordinate the needs of the labor market and the potential of specialist to meet and utilize them as a personnel resource. The goal of the project is to increase the awareness, competence and positive attitudes of the organization's management, supervisors and personnel management experts towards diverse and more equal working communities with the help of the Diversity and precision work competence model developed in the project.Main operations:1.
