The project aims to improve three aspects of the local business ecosystem

1) Simultanous response to the knowledge and development needs of the companies

2) Better utilization of the LUT-University expertize

3) Fostering the student driven business ideas and student entrepreneurship



The main objective is to improve the operating conditions and effectiveness of the Skinnarila campus based Business Mill -services in developing the knowledge based business solutions, knowledge creation and preparation of the commercialization.



The main objective is divided into 3 goals:



Goal 1: The simultaneous need to create both the knowledge and solution is better taken into account when utilizing the experts and students of the higher education organizations in the needs of the Business Mill.



Goal 2: Strenghtening the co-operation with LUT-University and improving the utilization of the experts, facilities and equipment of the university as a part of the response to the respective business needs.



Goal 3: While expanding the student co-operation the Business Mill services will function increasingly as a learning environment, where the participation is not dependent on the course implementation or timetable. The foundations for the student entrepreneurship will be improved remarkably.
