The focus of Textiles into circulation in Päijät-Häme -project is to prepare actions concerning the separate collection of textiles that starts running in the beginning of 2023.
The project is done in collaboration between LAB University of Applied Sciences, Salpakierto Oy and Harjulan Setlementti ry and is funded by The Regional Council of Päijät-Häme.
The best possible ways to organize the regional separate collection of textiles is being studied in the project. Also, the aim is to create a network between partners and to develop their operation as well as to investigate employment possibilities in textile collection and pre-sorting duties. At the same time, strengthening the cooperation between operators and utilizing RDI activity.
