The students at the LAB University of Applied Sciences use several study tools to help with their studies. During the orientation week you will learn more about the study tools used at the LAB.

NETWORK ID

All of the LAB students have their own unique Active Directory Network ID consisting of a username and password, required to access all available online services, workstations, learning management systems and library databases. You will get your Network ID in the beginning of your studies. After you get your Network ID, you will be able to log in to the online services that you will use throughout your studies at the LAB.

You can activate you user ID starting from January 1st, 2021 at https://id.lut.fi.

Your user ID will be used as a username when logging into the LAB systems (for example online learning platform Moodle).

After activating your user ID you will receive your own LAB email address (firstname [dot] lastnameatstudent [dot] lab [dot] fi) which can be used as a username when using the Office 365 services (email, Onedrice, Teams etc.).
