Solid foundation for a successful career

The Degree Programme in Tourism and Hospitality Management offers you a wide range of studies that prepare you to provide highclass, innovative services that clients today require.

You will learn how to design hotel, restaurant and touristic services, how to manage a business and how to be a successful leader. Sales and marketing skills are also needed, as well as intercultural communication and wide-ranging language skills.

The courses are carried out using diverse learning methods from lectures and group work to project-based studies in our own restaurant and in co-operation with local companies. Online learning is also employed. The studies are carried out entirely in English and they include an exchange period or work placement abroad.

Graduates of the degree programme will work as experts or supervisors in the hotel, restaurant and tourist sector. They can be employed in different management, planning and development positions for example as reception managers, restaurant managers, hotel sales managers, area managers in restaurant chains, or destination developers.

To be an effective manager, practical and operational expertise is essential. This particular aspect is accomplished through a compulsory placement period
